One person’s experience of visiting Russia
Sometimes our decisions are made without thinking. Indeed, sometime we are guided just by emotions and not by mind. We are guided by the ideas and impressions we have been influnced with. That is why when I saw the documentary on the National Geographic about Russia I suddendly understood that it will be my next travel destination. All my friends were supportive and tried to tell me off this decision but I was strong enough to call the local travel agency and asked them what visa documents to Russia I required. And I was really lucky as they had one of the best tours to Russia and they have several vacant seats left. So they booked me a flight to Moscow and an additional travel guide in Russia. I even didn’t have to wait for my visa documents to arrive as they contacted Russian consulate for Russian Visas and I was lucky to get the permission to enter the Russian Federation and even Belarus and the Ukraine! It was great and the most greatest part was the journey itself! It was amazing, sometimes bizarre, sometimes frightening, but in general it was just awesome! I saw many places of interest, visited medieval churches and castles and got to know Russian culture!
